During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Are you a computer-savvy individual who is looking for an opportunity to help spread the word about clean energy solutions? We are looking for 5-6 people to moderate 10 different webinar sessions for our virtual Go Clean Energy Conference (gocleanenergy.org) the week of September 28 - October 2. The purpose of the conference is to bring together government, legislators, businesses, organizations, professionals and individuals to share ideas and help build support for a low carbon economy. Speakers are sought who can address clean energies, waste reduction, strategies for companies and individuals to engage in ghg reduction. Individuals interested in energy, waste, and sustainability issues are encouraged to participate on this 350Deschutes opportunity.
There will be 2 webinars at 12pm and 4pm each day for the entire week. For each webinar we need individuals to make sure it runs smoothly, this includes introducing the speaker, moderating questions from virtual attendees, and closing out the virtual room after the webinar is over. The webinar platform will be Zoom or a similar online meeting software. Training in hosting a webinar on the chosen platform will be provided, as well as a virtual orientation to familiarize volunteers with the procedure.
This is an excellent opportunity to learn more about clean energy solutions, as well as to build your skills in an online meeting platform!
