Missiouri, write letters to isolated patients

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Snowline Hospice

Thank you for your interest in our organization. Anyone can write letters or cards. There is no application process to do this, just a few guidelines to follow as you write. We are grateful for any number of letters received. You can even write one letter and make multiple copies. Letters do not need to be sent in multiple envelopes. We do encourage handwritten letters, but they can also be typed. I have attached these guidelines to this email. As well, I am including the words of a sample letter below. I hope this gives you some inspiration when writing your own letter or card.

To date, we do not have the capability to track hours for mandated community service hours. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause for those looking to participate.

Please send all letters to:

We are so humbled by your support and generous heart. Our patients thank you!

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hello,

On behalf of Snowline, I wanted to reach out and say hello. We are all staying home these days, but I am glad to have a chance to let you know that we are thinking of you and that your Snowline care team is here for you when you have a need.

I have been loving watching all of the storms we have had lately. As I looked out my window the weather went from bright sunshine to clouds darkening the sky, to a WILD burst of wind and hail and almost snow. It was very dramatic, and I loved it. It smells so fresh now that the rain has come, and the daffodils and iris seem to have weathered the storm just fine.

Our cat is very confused to have all of us home working. She keeps walking through the house with the feline equivalent of a frown on her face. But then she curls up in my lap as I work, and all is right in both of our worlds.

Remember: you are part of the Snowline family and we are here for you.

Take care,

First name only or just initials is fine
