During these uncertain times, how can we help?

We are looking for some foster parents for a dog who is a little shy!! We think she'd benefit from a foster home that understands dogs well and has a good amount of patience for them. A household where things aren't too loud and she can get lots of individualized attention would be best! We just need a little time for this little one to come out of his shell. In terms of time commitment, it's foster until he becomes a lot more comfortable with people! Could be a few weeks!

Our mission is to protect and help dogs and cats from homelessness neglect, abuse, cruelty and abandonment. VIDA does not belong to any one person but instead to all of its volunteers. We adopt out about 4-5 dogs and cats each week and rescue dogs from high-kill shelters, low income neighborhoods, and even dogs from Mexico. We also have spay and neuter operations and have saved thousands of animals already.
Volunteers in Defense of Animals is a non-profit organization working to end the suffering and mistreatment of dogs and cats in Southern California. We bring spay and neuter services to areas where families cannot afford them; we facilitate the rescue, foster care, and adoption of animals whenever possible, and we offer education and support to those involved in the care of animals.
We have found forever homes for hundreds of dogs and cats, with around 4-5 new adoptions taking place each week. Many of our dogs come from local high-kill shelters before they are euthanized and on the streets of both the US and Mexico. We also have spay/neuter operations in low-income neighborhoods in the US and in Mexico and have spayed/neutered thousands of pets.
We'll work with your schedule.
