No experience is required. We are seeking qualified and passionate candidates to serve as non-compensated volunteers to join our Board. This is a great opportunity to gain experience serving on an International board. We would like to hear from those in human service, medical, executives, customer service, self employed, and really anyone who desires to see poverty defeated and people become productive and repeat the cycle of help throughout remote villages throughout Nigeria and Africa. We would like to hear from you!
At least 21 years old
Experience in planning and implementing advocacy strategies and campaigns to support an issue or cause related to our mission and vision
Significant presence in social media and support our mission with relevant posts
Advocating for what we are doing to put an end to poverty in Nigeria through public speaking and social media
Inviting relevant organizations to join us
Attend 6 virtual Board meetings hosted by Zoom live video
Drop into occasional monthly sessions via conference call or live video

Approximately 3 hours per month - 6 Board Meetings Per Year
Occasional monthly informational sessions as needed
Regular attendance in 6 board meetings per year and important related meetings, as determined.
A commitment to participate actively in committee work, when necessary
Staying informed about board and committee matters, preparing well for meetings.
