We need STRONG volunteers that will help to move furniture, mattresses and boxes into apartments for families receive housing and moving into CEC properties. Sometimes apartments are on the second floor. Sometimes working in the Warehouse is needed to move furniture and donated items.
We set up the apartments with furniture, linens, dishes and all new beds for families that have come from homelessness or domestic violence situations to give them a positive start.
Mondays 9am - 1pm or 1pm -4pm are the shifts needed. Mostly inside work is needed.
Volunteers must be 18 years or older.

Description
The CEC provides housing and case management support for homeless families working to become self-sufficient. The CEC also runs a food pantry that serves low-income people in northeast Tarrant County.

- Days and Times TBD. We usually drive to location pick up items and move in all furniture within 4 hours and prefer weekday mornings.
- Heavy Lifting, would prefer Male over 18 years old. Bring own back support, gloves and mask.
