ORGANIZATION: Bowery Residents' Committee, Inc.

In an effort to ensure the continued health and safety of those men and women we serve, we have started providing pre-packaged lunches. In order to keep up with our other food-service obligations, we occasionally seek assistance in the packaging process.

Please note, due to the current pandemic, all in-person volunteers will be asked for the following:

    • Proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to your assignment
    • Proof of your booster if you have met the time frame that would allow you to receive one:
      • If you received the single dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine you are eligible for the booster after 2 months
      • If you received the two-dose Pfizer vaccine, you are eligible for the booster 5 months after receiving your second dose
      • If you received the two-dose Moderna vaccine, you are eligible for the booster 5 months after receiving your second dose
    • Temperature check upon arrival for your shift
    • Masks must be worn at all times when onsite
    • Regular, ongoing hand-washing during your shift
    • Social distancing guidelines must be followed
This will take place at our 25th street kitchen, between 6th and 7th Avenues. Due to space and social distancing requirements, spots are limited. Available shifts are seven days per week as follows:

Please note: Any/all potential volunteers must complete a New Volunteer Registration form, which can be found at the following link: http://www.brc.org/volunteer-registration . Once received, you will then be sent an invitation to participate in an orientation via Zoom.
