Mission Statement

Help build better lives through behavioral health and substance abuse services.


Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma annually helps build better lives for over 7,000 adults and children in communities throughout northeastern Oklahoma. We are the only Oklahoma community mental health center certified in the internationally recognized Sanctuary model of trauma-informed care.

Our children’s and adult outpatient services, children’s and adults case management, physical health care management and wellness services (health home) and CALM Center, crisis stabilization for youth ages 10-17, are accredited by CARF International. This accreditation assures clients that we have met the highest quality standards.

We also are certified by and under contract with the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services to provide mental health and substance abuse services. This certification requires a commitment to quality care.

  • The Board meets about once a month usually on late afternoon weeknight. We also invite Board Members to become a part of a committee within a specific department of the agency (i.e. financial, marketing, fundraising etc.)
  • Be a brand ambassador for our agency in the community as well as across any social networks you belong to.
