Volunteer to Support the Roger Williams Park Zoo Re-Opening

At this time, we are requesting that volunteers support our on grounds operations. Volunteers will be asked to engage with visitors from a safe distance, share zoo visit information, and monitor and support visitor queues and social distancing. We are asking for your help to support our success and future as Rhode Island’s zoo.

The zoo is asking for volunteers for every day of operation Monday-Sunday with from 9am-3pm (includes a half hour lunch break). We are looking for volunteers that are 16+.

Please know the zoo’s priority is that our volunteers remain safe. We are currently and will continue to take important safety precautions for staff, visitors, and volunteers. All these procedures are defined by the CDC, State, and City of Providence.
