We are currently seeking bringers of JOY to individuals receiving hospice care and their loved ones.
This is an excellent way to get familiar with hospice volunteering, especially if it's your first time. Your schedule is flexible and you can volunteer at your own pace. You're always welcome to do more, but your monthly minimum commitment is only 4 hours.
How exactly DOES one bring cheer? There are NO LIMITS! We are here to hear your ideas and make them realities for the benefit of our patients, their loved ones, and for healthcare workers. The sky is the limit but here are a few ideas:
Deliver flowers
Write cards and letters
Plan a birthday party
Leave a surprise care package on a doorstep
Put a sign of support in a yard
Assist with holiday celebrations
Serenade with your instrument or voice
There is no cost to volunteer and we will provide all supplies you need to bring joy to others. We need your energy, your enthusiasm, and a little bit of your time to make a BIG impact on others.
Reach out to learn more about becoming a Unity Cheer Leader!
