Talk About Adoption(tm) is holding our first-ever event, and we are looking for passionate volunteers to help out! The goal of our organization is to talk about adoption so people will know that parenting and open adoption are the only rewarding options for an unexpected pregnancy. We are an independent, organized movement created by birth mothers. Our event, called Adoption Speaks , will be providing comprehensive education and insight into modern adoption with amazing speakers, sponsors, and panelists, as well as a time of worship in the evening. Benefits of volunteering include free all-day entry into the event, breakfast and lunch provided, free child care if needed, and the chance to contribute to a worthwhile cause that needs your help . Anyone able to lift, bend over, carry loads needed as well as those with an eye for decor and attention to detail.

We will need volunteers to help during four shifts on Nov. 7th, and one shift on Nov.6th:

1) Friday, Nov. 6th preparation from 6pm-8pm

2) Morning shift from 7am-11am on November 7, 2020

3) Mid-day shift from 11am-3pm on November 7, 2020

4) Evening shift from 3pm-7pm on November 7, 2020

5) Night shift from 9pm-11:30pm on November 7, 2020

The event-day (Nov. 7th) volunteers will be:

• Catering to our speaker's and/or worship bands' needs
• Greeting and guiding attendees
• Checking-in attendees (giving out wristbands, using QR code)
• Assisting event leaders
• Breaking down event decorations, tables and chairs; picking up trash, etc.

The pre-event day (Nov. 6th) volunteers will be:

• Setting up decorations and exhibit booth tables/tablecloths and chairs. Free pizza and childcare will be provided during this time.
