Are you an artist that has some time on their hands?
Father's Day is June 20th this year and due to Covid-19, it has been difficult to visit our hospice patients.
A card or drawing means the world to patients and family members.
The cards can be decorated with pens, pencils, paints, etc. We are just looking for Father's Day themed greeting cards or art projects at this time, but would love other greeting cards throughout the year.
I will be happy to meet at a local business close to your residence or place of work when the cards are ready for delivery.
I can provide a certificate for your volunteer hours and present it to you if desired.

Volunteers are an integral part of the AccentCare (formerly Texas Home Health Hospice) team, providing compassion and care when it is needed most. As the heart and hands of the hospice team, they provide a special kind of caring to patients, families, and staff through helping to make the hospice experience manageable and rewarding.
Men, women, and young people of all ages and backgrounds can volunteer in a variety of roles.
Volunteer as:
- Patient/Family Care Volunteer
- Office/Administrative Volunteer
- Pet Therapy Volunteer
- Bereavement Volunteer
- Veteran Volunteer
- Reiki Volunteer
- Music Therapy Volunteer
ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS MUST SUBMIT AN APPLICATION. *** ALL POTENTIAL VOLUNTEERS MUST UNDERGO A BACKGROUND CHECK, TAKE A TB TEST, DRUG TESTING AND ORIENTATION/TRAINING PRIOR TO START***
