Face Masks Needed! Homemade masks needed for team assisting people with developmental disabilities

*Here at Sertoma Centre, we provide opportunities that empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve personal success. We help over 2,000 individuals annually in the Greater Chicago Southside neighborhoods -and we need volunteers like you to support our mission!*

Our Direct Support Teams are wearing face masks while on the job, and we are in need of many homemade and reusable face masks for both them and our consumer population. With the ongoing pandemic, this is an ongoing need/project, in high demand. To mask our staff with (only) two masks we need 750+ masks. We must also account for wear-and-tear. We have received just over 300 masks in donations so far and need many more.

Your help will be so crucial for providing our teams with enough protection to stay on the job and stay safe. With your help, we can continue to live the mission of Sertoma!

*Please package masks in groups of 5-10 if possible to help us prevent accidental contamination.*
