We’re urgently looking for Volunteer Cat Transporters to join #TeamLYFF. This program helps saves cats who are very often at immediate risk of euthanasia and is literally life-saving work!
Feral Freedom is a mode of free, volunteer-based transportation designed to rescue feral cats from high kill shelters, and transport them to screened and approved barn homes. This system is successful, thanks to a large network of people who volunteer their time, gas money, and hearts, in order to see the animals reach their furever barn homes. Each transport is important, because all of us have one goal in mind, and that is to see these wonderful ferals reach their safe destinations!
We’re ideally looking for weekday transporters though if you can only do weekends, please still contact us. Drop off and pick up locations are and around San Diego and North County (Chula Vista, Oceanside, Fallbrook, Temecula, Alpine, Julian, Ramona, Valley Centre, San Diego, El Cajon areas). Times are flexible, and days vary for the transports - we’ll try our best to work around your schedule.
You’ll need a vehicle to transport cats in and we’ll provide cat carriers for you. We’ll do some initial shadowing of a team member for training and questions you may have.
Get in touch if you’re interested in learning about this life-changing program today and how you can help! Details and application on our website at http://loveyourferalfelines.com/barn-cat-rescue-transports
