If you are a compassionate, caring, and feel a calling to help others, becoming a hospice volunteer might be the perfect opportunity for you. Our volunteers give their time, talent, and hearts generously - yet commonly feel that they receive more than they give. Volunteers choose the area in which they prefer to function and the hours they are willing to donate. We serve all of northeast Indiana.
Some areas to volunteer include:
- Patient support: Providing Companionship to the Patient and/or Caregiver Relief
- Administrative: Data Entry, Filing, and Office Assistance
- Special Projects: Nursing Home Activities, Sewing, Holidays, Special Events
- Bereavement Support

Compassus is a nationwide network of community-based hospice, palliative and home health care services. It operates through a network of community-based programs with more than 159 locations serving patients and families in 29 states across the U.S. The Nashville, Tennessee-based company was founded in 2006, but its roots in hospice reach back to 1979. Our goals are to provide the highest quality post-acute care in every community in which we operate, and to be both the provider and employer of choice.
