The Wingman Program connects veterans and their families who are having finanical difficulties, with people and businesses within their community, to provide services and goods to increase their quality of life.

The goals of the program are to foster a connection between you and veterans, to create awareness of the struggles veterans and those who have experienced MST face upon returning from deployment and the impact on their families, and to ensure veterans and their families obtain a sense of belonging and support from their local community and community members.

As a Wingman, you will be sent a Mission that will provide support and assistance to the veteran and their family. You are encouraged to be creative, resourceful and have fun accomplishing your Mission. You can solve the Mission independently or with friends, colleagues, family members, businesses or strangers!

All support and assistance that is provided to veterans and their families through the Wingman Program are placed within one of eight categories. Each category provides opportunities to enhance the quality of life for a combat veteran and their family.

  • Health and Wellness
  • Education
  • Essential Needs
  • Transportation
  • Residential
  • Employment
  • Medical
  • Other

Here is an example of a Mission that was sent to a Wingman and how it was accomplished.

Mission: To provide resources and opportunities for a veteran and their spouse to receive an eye exam and prescription eyeglasses.

Quality of Life Category: Medical

How it was accomplished: The Wingman volunteer distributed letters about the veteran’s combat deployment describing how his wife has been taking care of him, to several eye specialists in the couple’s area. An Optometrist responded to the Wingman and provided an eye exam and eyeglasses at no charge to the couple.

Thank you for honoring a combat veteran and their family!

Volunteer with Everyone for Veterans

Help us serve more veterans by sharing your talents and your time with veterans.

Less than 1% of the population of this country serves in the armed forces. We can serve in different ways, especially, by assisting those who have served our country. Everyone for Veterans endeavors to do just that. Whichever industry you work in, we welcome your expertise and skills to help us give back to veterans in need. This is not only a rewarding experience for you and your business but also helps our veterans feel more confident and content during their transition back to civilian life.
