Are you interested in volunteering in the community from the comfort of your own home while making a difference? How about being a friend to someone in your community who is elderly or disabled?

The Direction Home Dialers program was made to call community members who are elderly or disabled to reduce social isolation and give them a friend to talk to. These calls are not for medical or professional advice, simply chatting with a neighbor.

We are looking for compassionate people who enjoy talking to others on the phone about anything and everything.

Tasks include: calling members on a weekly basis to talk about every day life, filling out a contact form, and noting if there are any red flags. You would be in direct contact with the HR team at Direction Home if you have any questions at all.

Direction Home Akron Canton centers long-term care on the person - not the problem. We really get to know you and your loved ones, so that we can help you navigate your long-term care options with dignity and understanding. Direction Home Akron Canton will be the central access point and the preferred long-term care management organization for all people with disabilities.
