Description
Hospice volunteers play a vital role in hospice care organizations. They’re able to keep patients company when family and friends are not able to be there, help with administrative work through mailings or calls, and many creative special projects. Volunteers do not provide any medical or hands -on care. We participate in the We Honor Vets program with opportunities to enrich our veteran’s lives.
Some of the activists you might consider: Grocery shopping, preparing meals, provide comfort and support, reading to patient, helping with errands, building wheel chair ramps.
Our volunteers are compassionate, empathetic people who want to help patients at the end of their life by promoting quality of life.
