We are a new not for profit arts education program for youth minorities and youth with autism in Baltimore City. Our current focus is the musical The Wiz Jr. We will be starting a virtual free program called Jumpstart to The Wiz which will begin May 11th and end June 12th. This program will provide young with people with the opportunity to take music & acting classes and visual art classes that is focused on The Wiz. We are currently seeking a skilled art teacher who is comfortable teaching ages 8-17 virtually, creative, and who is skilled in creating theatre props that represent props from The Wiz. The schedule for our visual arts teacher will be Tuesdays and Thursday's from 5:00-6:00 pm. If interested, please email us at riseartscenter@gmail.com.

R.I.S.E. Arts Center of Baltimore Inc. provides a multidisciplinary arts education to youth in underserved communities and youth and young adults with autism and/or other intellectual disabilities in Baltimore City.
Description
We aim to strengthen creative skillsets by utilizing art exhibitions, musical theater, art therapy, creative writing, and creative entrepreneurship education. Through our program youth develop confidence, social skills, life skills and critical thinking to face life's daily challenges.
