Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the Red Cross needs your help, more than ever, to ensuring patients in local hospitals receive the life-saving blood they need. Please join us as a Temperature Screener to support local blood drives!
Red Cross Temperature Screener
- Perform temperature screening on potential donors, volunteers and staff prior to their entry into a blood drive, Blood Center or Red Cross building.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance the blood donor experience.
Why is this role so important?
This position serves as gatekeeper by providing additional screening the American Red Cross has implemented in the interest of the safety of the blood supply, recipients, other donors, staff, volunteers and general public health regarding COVID-19 outbreaks.
Requirements
- Ages 18+
- Professional Communication skills
- 3-4 hr shift per month
