During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
SHARE Food Warehouse has seen an increase in need due to the COVID-19 crisis and needs your help! Volunteers will assemble food packages for our neighbors in need at the SHARE Warehouse, while maintaining social distancing and safety practices to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Join us to care for food-insecure families and to support essential workers.
Volunteers are also needed to join us on a Friday or Saturday at the SHARE Warehouse to assist with the distribution of food. While maintaining safety precautions and social distancing, volunteers will assist senior citizens, load vehicles with food packages, and make sure people get the correct amount of food items. Some heavy lifting may be required.

Catholic Charities is the social ministry outreach of the Archdiocese of Washington. Motivated by the Gospel message of Jesus Christ, and guided by Catholic social and moral teaching, Catholic Charities strengthens the lives of all in need by giving help that empowers and hope that lasts. To this end we affirm and support the dignity of all human life, strengthen families and serve the poor and most vulnerable.
For more than 80 years, families, children and adults in need of help and hope have been able to turn to Catholic Charities to find comprehensive, caring and competent support. Last year our 63 programs working in 48 locations across the District of Columbia and the surrounding Maryland counties served more than 126,000 men, women and children of all economic, religious and social backgrounds.
We'll work with your schedule.
