Foster Grandparent Volunteers serve as tutors and mentors to the youth of the community. Must be 55 years or older to be a Volunteer.

1 Shift

  • 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM
    Volunteer at educational and childcare facilities. Must serve at least 15 hours per week and keep a consistent schedule.

  • Driver's License Needed
  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 55
  • Orientation or Training
  • To become enrolled, applicants must interview with FGP staff and agree to a State and FBI fingerprint background check. Once results are reviewed and the applicant is still deemed eligible, they must complete pre-service orientation training.
  • A Driver's License or State ID is required to check the State you live in an will be serving in. Applicant must pass a background check before beginning orientation training. $3 per hour stipend available to those who meet income guidelines.
