Do you want to safely help families financially affected by Covid-19?
The Burnet Middle School Family Resource Center with Austin Voices for Education & Youth needs volunteers!
Help us distribute 15,000+ pounds of food to over 500 families in Northeast Austin! We will be following all protocols and safety recommendations provided by the CDC in keeping a safe distance from families by providing a drive-thru food distribution service (there will be a short line for families who walk or take the bus).
Time:
- 9:00pm-1:30pm - unloading food & packing food boxes/bags
(fresh produce, cans, eggs, milk, & other perishables/non-perishables)

- At least one time although volunteers are encouraged to volunteer with us as many times as they wish to. A brief orientation & COVID-19 procedures will be conducted on the spot prior to begin volunteering with us.
- Please wear your own mask. We will provide gloves and extra-masks if needed.
