Fresh Start Caring For Kids Foundation

FSCFK is in need of an volunteer to help us get the word out about our FREE gift of surgery at Comer Children`s Hospital to our local communities. This position would be done virtually until COVID 19 limits are lifted.
Previous experience with community outreach is preferred. We want to inform all community residents of our FREE GIFT OF SURGERY who could benefit from our gift of surgery program and especially want to concentrate on the residents of the south side of Chicago.

Fresh Start Caring For Kids Foundation accomplishes its mission through the Surgery Weekend Program, which transforms the lives of low-income, uninsured, and underinsured children with physical deformities through comprehensive healthcare treatments at no cost to the children and their families.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Background Check
  • Must be at least 21
  • 3-5 hours per week virtual outreach to inform communities and organizations about our free services. Some limited travel ( with mileage reimbursement ) after COVID restrictions are lifted
  • Outgoing professional to connect remotely with local community groups .Ability to research and connect with community resources and organizations to inform them of our mission , provide information and follow up after connecting.
