- Specialty Volunteers: Provide specific support including music, vigil, any arts and crafts, life review video, spiritual support and handyman help.
- Administrative Volunteers: Provide organizational/clerical support including filing, answering phones, mailings and additional support-some tasks can be completed from your home.
- Bereavement Volunteers: Provide support to families through phone calls, mailings, and visits-- some task can be done from your home.
- Patient Visitor Volunteers: Provide friendly visits to hospice patients in their homes or long-term healthcare facilities, to provide companionship and support both the patient and their families.
- Pet Therapy Volunteers: Provide caring visits to patients with their registered therapy dogs. The pet therapy volunteer team must be registered or willing to become registered.

The application, test, and copy of our Rules and Guidelines are enclosed. A list of the Tester/Observers in your area, the link to begin the background check, and additional information like a video of our testing, presentations, and forms are on our website: www.therapydogs.com/join-therapy-dogs/

- Tuberculin Skin Test Administration Form or TB: Targeted Medical Questionnaire. (TB Test can be administered by a Kindred Hospice Nurse) - Drug Screening -Covid-19 vaccination per Medicare requirement.
