Texas Music Partners (TMP) is a small, young organization with a specific mission and multiple ways to accomplish it. We are looking for a team of leaders, in the Austin and central Texas area, who can help us reach our goals by working together with the founder and taking the initiative to accomplish our mission. The Board makes the decisions and clears the way for our committees to execute the tasks set out by the Board and its founder to accomplish its goals and its mission. During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are working virtually but as this crisis subsides we will be working in-person more.

BOARD CULTURE

Texas Music Partners is a new organization trying to build a diverse board that is close-knit, like family, where our skills complement each other and teamwork is paramount. We are focused on succeeding in our mission. Our board is a working board. We are currently developing committees to help move our mission forward.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Attend Board meetings (usually on Saturday mornings). We have a minimum of 3-4 meetings per year. Our fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30.
2. Come to meetings prepared and ready to contribute.
3. Allot at least 10 hours per month to committee requirements, fundraising, making connections, etc.
