ORGANIZATION: Texas Music Partners

  • 9 people are interested

Texas Music Partners (TMP) depends on our volunteer committees to help ensure our organizational health and effectiveness. We currently have 3 committees and 2 subcommittees (see committee structure on the website). Every committee and subcommittee are equally important to TMP’s success so the members of each committee should be aware of how important you are to the success of our mission. We are currently trying to build the following committees with volunteers and interns, in the Austin and central Texas area.

DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

(3-5 members)

If you are the type of person who is good at seeing the forest and creating an overall strategy to ensure that the mission of Texas Music Partners is funded and can continue to expand, then this is the committee for you!

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE

(3-7 members)

Are you good at looking at a plan and implementing it? Are you good with people -or- you are new to the fundraising world and would like to gain experience? Does it give you a good feeling to know that your work helps create financial stability for a good cause? Then this would be the committee for you!

EVENT COMMITTEE

(3-7 members)

Do you like to entertain? Do you have creative ideas? Do you have knowledge about how to put on successful events? Do you have connections to vendors and/or like-minded people who enjoy these events? Are you motivated? Then this is the opportunity for you!
NOTE: During the CV-19 issue, we will be combining the Fundraising committee and Event committee for online fundraising events. Once the all-clear is given, we will split these back into 2 committees.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

(3-7 members)

This committee has room for multiple talents. Are you good at PHP and CSS using WordPress? Do you like to develop phone/tablet apps? Are you a promoter or marketing specialist? Do you have strategic contacts in the community to help TMP get their message to the right people? Are you a blogger or are you in the know with what is happening in the music and technology world? Are you good at getting results in social media? Crowdfunding? Are you good at working with others and helping our other committees promote their accomplishments? Then this is the committee for you! The Communications Committee is TMP’s liaison to the public.

REQUIREMENTS
