Every Voice is an all-volunteer organization of students and survivors working to combat sexual violence on college campuses (everyvoicema.org). For five years, we have advocated for comprehensive measures to support survivors, including access to healthcare and counseling services, as well as improved prevention and bystander intervention education and more transparent data collection. Today, we have student-written legislation filed in five states, and we are trying to bring on staff that can oversee our 100+ volunteers and see this work through to completion (30 out of the 50 states still have no legislation at all in place regarding campus sexual violence).
Along with my co-founders, I have worked on this advocacy as a volunteer on nights and weekends over the past 6 years. Last month, I quit my job to go all-in on our advocacy, but right now we have little money and no staff. As we try to build a stronger organization that can empower the next generation of students to make their voices heard, our first step is going to be to put together a "case for support" so that we can raise the money we need to launch this campaign nationwide.
We have an official logo and some written materials, but we want to think about how to put together a core "case for support" that will be professional, engaging, and compelling to foundations and donors. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thank you so much!!

Description
Who We Are
We are students, young alumni, allies, and survivors of sexual violence. We are tired of seeing statistics come to life in the stories of those we love. The status quo of sexual violence is not acceptable to us. Now, we are calling on our peers, our administrators, and our elected representatives to be impatient for change and join us in demanding justice now.
What We Do
Sexual assault is a complex issue, and there is no one solution, but there are proven measures we can implement now: Provide evidence-based training on prevention and response. Grant survivors free access to medical care and counseling. Require fair and transparent investigations of all claims of sexual misconduct. Collect and publicly release data on sexual violence to increase transparency, measure progress, and find solutions.
Our campaign started in Massachusetts, and for the last 4 years, we have organized an all-volunteer movement to change how things are done in our state. Hundreds of students from more than 20 campuses across Massachusetts have gotten involved. Student-written legislation addressing sexual violence has passed the House and the Senate. More than 100,000 supporters have signed on in support of our bills.
Today, as states across the country look to take action against campus sexual violence, the Every Voice bills have become a national model. Now, we are working with students across the country to fight for justice for all survivors, regardless of where they happen to go to school.
