CHAPTER CHAIRPERSON

Score’s Chapter Executive Chairperson will have overall strategic and operational responsibility for the Chapter’s Nonprofit staff, programs, expansion, and the execution of its mission.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ongoing local program excellence, rigorous program evaluation and consistent quality of finance, administration, fundraising, communications and systems. Recommend timelines and resources needed to achieve the strategic goals.
  • Actively engage and energize the Chapter’s nonprofit volunteers, board members, alumni, partnering organizations and financial supporters.
  • Lead, coach, develop and retain Score’s Nonprofit high-performance senior management team.
  • Ensure effective systems to track progress, and regularly evaluate programs and measure successes that can be effectively communicated to the National organization, financial supporters and the community at large.

MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS TEAM LEADER

As the head of the Marketing Team the central role of the Executive is to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and help build and lead the existing marketing team to implement that strategy. In addition, an important responsibility of a nonprofit Marketing Executive is to oversee the organization's public relations effort. The better the PR, the more the public is aware of the work we do to support small businesses and entrepreneurship in the community. This often results in higher donations, which in turn increase our ability to serve the public.

FUNDRAISING AND COMMUNICATIONS TEAM LEADER

Nonprofits acquire income from a variety of sources. Fundraising, including winning grants and gaining financial support from large and small donors in the community, is critically important.

  • Expand local revenue-generating and fundraising activities to support existing programs and operations and regional expansion.
  • Deepen and refine all aspects of communication - from web presence to external relation goals for creating a stronger brand.
