ORGANIZATION: Bethany Christian Services

We are looking for a male volunteer to mentor a 12-year-old refugee youth from Guatemala who is living in a residential treatment facility in Sunfield, Michigan. He arrived in the United States in August of 2017, and he has excellent English language abilities. He is in 6th grade at a local middle school. His case manager shared in his mentoring referral, "Youth is in need of a steady relationship that he can rely on since he has moved to several placements and has immediate family relational concerns. Youth is able to interact with other socially and is interested in video games at this time. He often plays video games online."
