During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Compassus hospice is seeking ANGELS. Angel volunteers are the heart of hospice. They walk with others who are on their final and most sacred journey or in their last hours. They are non-medical volunteers trained to provide emotional support to the patient and caregiver in the last hours of life. They are the Alliance of Neighbors Giving End-of-Life Support.
The goal of the program is to provide a physical, compassionate presence during the last hours of living to hospice patients having only one or no primary caregiver. Angel volunteers ensure that each patient has a hand to hold during their last hours of life. *Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are not going into facilities at this time but will resume when it is safe to do so. We can still train you one-on-one at our office so you will be ready to go once you can visit. Our training is free of charge and open to your schedule.

Profoundly advancing the well-being and honoring the dignity of those we serve, helping make the world a better place--one family at a time.
Compassus is a nationwide network of community-based hospice, palliative and home health care services. Our mission is to offer comfort and hope to patients and families facing serious illness. We support that mission with a commitment to three core values: compassion, integrity, and excellence.
We are a Nashville, Tennessee-based company founded in 2006 with roots in hospice reaching back to 1979. Today, we have more than 150 locations in 31 states across the U.S. Our goals are to provide the highest quality care in every community in which we serve and to be both the provider and employer of choice.
We'll work with your schedule.
