Silicon Valley Design Thinking Club is looking for a passionate, talented and driven individual who is interested in joining a rapidly growing startup. The ideal candidate is dedicated in interviewing global leaders and delivering stories that resonate with the interviewees and audience. Our commitment is to engage interviewees and viewers with relevant content that is important to the communities we serve.

A successful candidate will have an opportunity to conduct interviews with national and global leaders, network with exceptional professionals, receive valuable work experience and build his own professional portfolio.

What is SVDT Club? Silicon Valley Design Thinking Club is an open community uniting Stanford GSB LEAD students and alumni, entrepreneurs, enterprise leaders, product managers, designers and individuals who want to learn how to innovate in practice.

We truly believe that Design Thinking is a unique combination of tools and techniques changing the way we look and solve the most challenging business problems in marketing, operations, business models, organizational design, human resources, and many others.

Qualifications:

• A proven leader and compelling presenter, who is able to communicate clearly and concisely across multiple audiences and partners.
• Able to conduct interviews about product design and create stories in a way the audience can resonate.
• Experience in monitoring video-blogs, writing scripts and shooting the approved scripts for our Youtube channel and other social media platforms on a biweekly / monthly basis.
• Ability to deliver videos with cuts, graphics, sound and other elements that convey a quality production value and a level of technical sophistication.
• Participate in brainstorming meetings and help develop strategies and positioning

Preferred (but not limited to):

- A background in interviewing, transcribing, as well as writing in a variety of different styles is preferred.

- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, English or relevant field

Some experience as a journalist or reporter.
