Serving those who serve in our military has long been one of the Red Cross’s top priorities going all the way back to Clara Barton and the Civil War. You can still help us serve those who serve and their families in a leadership position with our Services to the Armed Forces. You do not need to be a Veteran or a military family member as long as you have passion to drive these programs forward.
This is a virtual role for volunteers living in Massachusetts.

Every single day, the American Red Cross helps people in emergencies. Whether its one displaced family, thousands of disaster victims, or providing care and comfort to an ill or injured service member or veteran or support to a military family member, our vital work is made possible by people like you. It is through the time and care of ordinary people that we can do extraordinary things. We operate the largest food pantry in New England, we empower volunteers as leaders of the organization, we offer training and support. Whether it is standing with a family on the sidewalk at a house fire to offer comfort and care or it is contacting someone in the armed services who has a new baby, the Red Cross is a gentle presence of compassion and assistance.
