Partner with us in meeting the immediate needs of the community by sorting and organizing food into our shelves. Volunteers will also help with receiving grocery lists from clients who are in need and shopping for them in our food pantry. Lastly, taking out their food to their vehicle at specified parking spots.

Description

SA Hope Center is a Westside resource center empowering individuals and families in crisis to become sustainable through holistic individualized services, accountability and grace. We help working poor families struggling with food insecurity/crisis situations work one-on-one with a social work mentor to set goals and take the necessary steps to make positive progress in all areas of their life including employment, healthcare and finance education. In addition we provide nutritional assistance and clothing services.

  • shifts 9 am - 1 pm, 1 pm - 5 pm Monday - Friday
  • Please refrain from volunteering if you have traveled, been around anyone who might have been exposed to COVID 19. Please bring your own face masks. Gloves will be provided for your use.
