This volunteer opportunity is available for individuals who are interested in Virtual Classroom Teaching for refugee students. Preferred school teachers with experience in google classroom, zoom or any other social media app that will allow recording or streaming live. The goal of the online interaction is to bring the newly arriving refugee students and their families, who have very limited / no English to better understand the language and American school system. The focus would be on engaging the students and families, connecting and teaching them, using the material from their school districts and help prepare them get ready for the new school year.
