Position description:

We're looking for passionate, motivated volunteers who really want to help establish the new Los Angeles Chapter of SYSTEM Coalition!

This position will include working closely with the members of the local and national organization to coordinate with volunteers and connect with local communities. You will be interviewing, recruiting, onboarding and orienting prospective volunteers, as well as continuing to maintain volunteer morale. You will get an opportunity to represent the organization by networking in different industries, companies, university clubs, and professional organizations.

Looking for volunteers to fill leadership positions as well as individual contributor positions. I am dedicated to finding the best fit for every volunteer by really getting to know you, your goals, what you want to get out of volunteering and pairing that with an open need that we have.

A little about S.Y.STEM Coalition:

We started 5 years ago in Tucson, AZ. 6 exceptionally talented and motivated people who wanted to give back to the community by helping k-12 students find a passion for STEM. We saw all of the poverty in our city and realized if just one of those kids from that community was able to get a great paying job in STEM, they could not only help themselves but also help their whole family break the cycle of poverty! Now the organization has over 100 volunteers, chapters in 4 different cities and growing! More than anything, being a part of this amazing organization has showed me that you really CAN change the world, one step at a time!
