Now more than ever, our community needs individuals who can re-energize and re-inspire volunteers to come out and support neighbors in need. Become a Site Lead with Paint Tacoma Beautiful and develop your leadership skills! We are looking for driven volunteers to be part of a cohort of leaders who will bring our community together using safe, social distancing practices.
- Receive free training that covers leadership, project management, and exterior painting
- Cultivate meaningful relationships with homeowners and volunteers
- Learn more about home maintenance
- No experience necessary!
Paint Tacoma Beautiful provides free exterior painting to low-income homeowners during the spring and summer months. Site Leads will see the exterior painting process from beginning to end, and lead volunteer groups throughout the season. We look forward to this being a time to experience the joy of being together using safe social distancing practices. Many of the homeowners who apply to our program often live in isolation due to age, disabilities, and other factors that limit them from leaving their homes and engaging with the community. This program is all about showing up for them and building connections across generations, neighborhood lines, and other identities that separate us.
