On Friday, July 24th, 2020, Special Blessings will be hosting a "Live, Laugh, Love Comedy FUN-raiser" that will offer an evening of Laughs, Delicious Food and a Silent Auction that will benefit our cause.
"Live, Laugh, Love" represents our hearts for our special loved ones and their future lives, living outside of their families independently..."To Live Life to its Fullest, to Laugh and have joy every day and to Love beyond words."
This event will be held at the Elks Lodge, 5538 Lead Mine Rd in Raleigh. (Corner of Lead Mine & Millbrook Rd)
Our Guests will enjoy a fun and casual atmosphere as we laugh (Comedy provided by Andy Forrester) and make a difference in the lives of the families that we serve. Our Silent Auction table will be filled with collectibles from Sports Memorabilia to Artists, to Musicians...Names that you are sure to recognize.
Tickets are $25 per person (plus processing fee) ***Space is Limited*** (Tickets are not being sold at the door. Pre purchase only)
We have opportunities available for 5 individuals to assist us with set-up, breakdown, clean-up and serve guests. The hours are from Noon-10:30 pm. Volunteers are needed for a minimum of 2 hours or more.

Mission Statement
Special Blessings is a non-profit organization that provides Support, Edcuational, and Fun activities to children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Our goal is to educate children, families and volunteers through support group meetings and community inclusion. By providing families with information and knowledge, it will empower them to help their children grow to their fullest potential.
Description
Special Blessings was founded and established by the Executive Director, Roxanna Sinsapaugh.
She was inspired by her own son who was born with a disability.
Roxanne recognized the need to provide an outreach program that provides support, educational, and fun activities to families caring for these special loved ones and to assist with home sponsorship opportunities for adults with disabilities.
Special Blessings opened it’s doors to the community and began offering services in 1997.
Special Blessings offers Support, Educational, and Fun activities for families of children and adults with disabilities. Our Support Group brings "seasoned" parents alongside parents with newly diagnosed or younger children. We occasionally offer workshops that assist parents on their educational journey.
Our Family Fun Days brings families together for activities such as: roller skating, bowling, and park visits. Our families have enjoyed visits to the North Carolina Zoo, Fort Fisher Aquarium, and our horseback riding events.
