Mint Artists tent
Mint Artists sell their work at the Palmer Park Art Fair.

We are seeking one or two smart online / digital marketers to create two virtual art selling events for the teen artists of Mint Artists Guild. These could use Instagram, Zoom or another platform to sell our young people's art and our greeting cards in early June and possibly a second time.

These virtual events are important to our youth, who ordinarily could be participating at pop ups and the Palmer Park Art Fair during this time. We know they are missing out on a lot and we want to give them something else to support their careers, help pay for college, etc.

We need someone with project management experience, editing, marketing and sales or other digital sales and promotional skills.

Hours are flexible - but please commit at last five to seven hours a week through early June to make this happen.

This could be a wonderful volunteer opportunity to build your resume, to give back or both.

We really need a self starter who will take charge of this and make it a success for our youth. Thank you!

About MINT ARTISTS GUILD

Location:

PO Box 21667, Detroit, MI 48221, US

Mission Statement

Mint Artists Guild helps to transform aspiring Detroit youth artists through education, exceptional engagement and experience, resulting in earning opportunities, skill-building, exposure, and mentoring. Mint launches creative careers and lasting connections. Mint also infuses the community with art and creative experiences, enhancing a collaborative, healthy and generous culture.

Description

Mint works with artists ages 13 to 23 on entrepreneurial, career and life skills, and gives them opportunities to sell their creative work. A summer jobs program, business workshops and online educational and informational resources are offered to young visual artists. In 2020, we launched the Metro Detroit Youth Arts Competition, a creative activity kit giveaway (of 5,500 kits) and in 2021, we launched leadership development training. This year, we are working on an alumni engagement program, adding creative jobs to our website and so much more. We need your help and support to continue our growth!
