About the position

Got a knack for creating events? Love it when an event goes according to plan?
Be an event planner for Comida for Familia’s, Inc! Together we can create memorable events that will be sure to bring in a crowd and ensure that everyone is having a good time.
We expect a volunteer in this role to manage the planning and execution for a variety of different approved events that will boost engagement.

Do you have the ability to?

• Strategize, plan, and execute efficient event management themes including active on-the-day management for various charitable events either virtual or physical.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to speak and motivate gatherings either physical or digital and regular client interactions
• Actively engage and provide feedback in marketing, branding and financing options for conducting events.
• Handle all correspondence and monitor all event activities to boost client satisfaction and future engagement.

Best if you have

• A specialization in Business Communication, Public Relations, marketing or hospitality management or relevant expertise in the field gained through working for other NGOs, companies or universities in similar profiles.
• Familiarity with graphics designing and digital marketing.
• High levels of organizational, networking and creative skills
• Excellent in time management and resourceful enough to handle and resolves issues in real time.

All volunteers joining us are provided with access to digital tools, services and transportation benefits according to their profiles and requirements.
