Are you looking for something to do from home that makes a real impact on the Alzheimer's and dementia community? By doing an online fundraiser through The Longest Day, you can spread awareness and raise funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research during this trying time without ever leaving home.
Millions of Americans living in assisted living facilities have been affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Although our physical offices are closed, the Alzheimer's Association is open and available for around-the-clock care and support through our 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900), online educational programs and support groups, and other direct virtual support. Be a part of our impact now and moving forward as we continue to work toward a world without Alzheimer's and other dementia.
The Longest Day is a fundraising event centered around the summer solstice. We take all the extra light on the day with the most light to help us fight the darkness of Alzheimer's. All you have to do to take a personal stand against Alzheimer's and dementia is sign up for The Longest Day and host an online fundraiser.
-Love games? Do a virtual game night and ask for donations.
-Are you a musician? Host a virtual concert and ask for donations from viewers.
-A great cook? Put on a fake cooking show and ask for donations from viewers.
