Tutors are needed to assist homeschool students in core subjects (mathematics, grammar and composition, science, and history. Sponsors are also needed to assist with clubs such as chess, National Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, robotics, and other clubs. Credentials and experience in teacher helpful. A satisfactory criminal background check and application are required before an interview is schedules. Description

The Shepherd's Academy is a 501.c.3 nonprofit prek-12th grade school. We provide the following services: Early Learning 6 weeks-4 years Private Kindergarten 4 & 5 years Summer Camp Destiny K-6th grade 1st-3rd Grade Homeschool Support Classes and Tutoring 4th-8th Grade Homeschool Support Classes and Tutoring 9th-12th Grade Homeschool Support Classes and Tutoring STREAM integrated extracurricular classes (dance, piano, chess, robotics, foreign language, and more) and athletics (teeball, baseball, basketball, cheerleading) are also offered throughout the week. High school homeschool students are enrolled in Toccoa Falls College's  online dual enrollment program. We also offer parenting seminars and mentoring program for young boys. Students complete community service projects such as maintaining a community garden, problem solving via robotics, serving with Special Olympics, March of Dimes, Operation Christmas Child, hosting literacy events for Alzheimer's patients, and more.
