Practice and gain experience in law while contributing your knowledge with Comida For Familias, Inc. Navigate and advise board members on what decisions are legal and according to law, write forms for terms of services and liabilities, and extend volunteer visas if you know foreign and immigration law.
Most importantly, advise on how to safely and legally distribute food through state and federal codes and so that public can receive the food they need at a low cost. This is especially true for our application MealTicket, we want to be legally assured that locations with excess food, users, and Comida For Familias, Inc. will not be sued by the country or state. As an volunteer attorney, your responsibilities will be: - Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for individuals and businesses. - Provide evidence of your conclusions, such as codes and regulations. - Write legal documents, terms and condition, liabilities, etc.
Volunteers that want to establish a strong affiliation to the organization are asked to gift $250 to advance the organization's funds to increase our trainee training library, maintaining the Android and Apple developer account for publishing applications, and other services essential for the organization and it's members.
