Becoming a foster home is the biggest way that you can help. The heart and soul of every dog rescue is their foster homes. Without foster homes, we wouldn’t be able to help any dogs. One person CAN make a difference in the life of a dog. The more foster homes we have, the more dogs we can save. Foster homes are such a vital part of our organization since we operate through a network of foster homes rather than a shelter facility.

Mission Statement
Our Mission is to saves dogs that are in danger of being put to death in public shelters. Furever Home Rescue is a 501(c)(3) not for profit organization whose rescues are mostly pulled from high kill rate shelters in the surrounding communities of southwest Florida. These animals often have little to no hope of a better life. We give them a positive environment, healthy food, medical attention, socialization and lots of love and understanding in order to find them new forever homes in our local communities and throughout the State.
Description
We are a new Dog Rescue! We are all foster dog rescue mainly focused on working and herding breed dogs. We maintain no facility so our organization is our dedicated volunteers and fosters. A working Board of Directors oversees animal and business operations. We offer a safe environment and shelter for all dogs while with us. The dogs are care for by loving individuals in their homes until we can adopt them into a new suitable home. Animals will stay with us as long as it takes to find them a new home. We obtain our animals from various sources, such as owner surrender, cruelty seizures, other rescues and county facilities. All animals are spayed/neutered and receive all age appropriate vaccines and medical care. We showcase our animals on various Web based adoption sites, our own Website www.fureverhomerescue.dog Facebook and other social media platforms. We participate in organized animal rescue events throughout Sarasota county and surrounding areas and we bring animals to specific sites on weekends for mini-adoption events.
