the health of our clients and volunteers is our absolute top priority so (if you do drive for us) please adhere to these rules:

  • Please wear face covering or mask
  • Please bring sanitizer and wipes if at all possible while delivering - use them after EVERY delivery
  • Do not interact directly with clients or other residents in buildings - especially elevators and corridors
  • Knock and leave bags at apartment/house doors - call ahead if at all possible to let clients know you are arriving, initial delivery log indicating receipt
  • We can provide surgical gloves and some wipes


UPO COVID-19 Hot Meals are already prepared and sealed for residents. Volunteers are provided a list of routes to deliver to (name and phone numbers). Other volunteers can sign up as navigators and help drivers on deliveries. Routes normally contain between 6-8 deliveries and take about 1-2 hours.
