Human sexuality is a taboo subject for open discussion in most countries of the world. Yet the realities of its effect on humanity cannot be ignored.

The Hedonista CrowdFund Platform seeks to address sexual pleasure and dysfunction in practical ways that can be personally healing or commercially viable.

We seek a volunteer, proficient in WordPress, to help develop a crowdfunding startup for sex-positive entrepreneurs. This crowdfund platform will also provide help to those who have endured sex-negative experiences.

Working on our campaign gave us the idea to crowdfund sex-positive ideas that address a personal or societal dysfunction.

We would use a similar coding infrastructure as traditional crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter and GoFundMe. However, there would be additional safeguards and other features to reflect the adult nature of the site.

  • Sex-Positive Funding: There are many ethical and erotic ideas that entrepreneurs have from around the world that they are unable to realize because of a lack of funds. An ethical or activist erotic business is one that addresses problems in human sexuality with a product or service.
  • Sex-Negative Funding: There are many areas of human sexuality which are dysfunctional. In those areas, there are potential products or services that can address areas of sexual dysfunction and make a sustainable income. Being able to raise funds related to sexual healing could address many problems related to the negative effects of sexuality in the world.

The Hedonista Crowdfund development project would help people to fulfill their sensual entrepreneur dreams or escape sexual nightmares. Dysfunctional sexuality the root of so many problems in societies. This project has the potential to reach every citizen of every country in the world.

Our site is in Wordpress. There are currently crowdfund plugins that we can use to implement a crowdfund on our site.

Mission Statement

Our community is based on the principle of 'pleasurable activism'. We try to do our bit to 'save the world' but also enjoy ourselves at the same time. It is why we call our community 'Hedonisia'. We have fun in paradise but are not blind to the world's problems. Though our physical community was destroyed in the 2018 Kilauea volcano eruption we continue our work online. In the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Web Portfolio, we work on a portfolio of activist, ecofeminist and social entrepreneur projects with the assistance of volunteers from across the globe.

Description

Hedonisia Hawaii EcoFeminist Community was started in 2004 in the Hawaiian rainforest. Our community was based on ecofeminism and ecotourism as our social and economic foundations.

Though our community was small, the projects we work on have a global reach. We are idealist and pragmatic seeking entrepreneurial and creative solutions to various challenges we face in the world.

In 2018, Hedonisia Hawaii was destroyed by lava flow from the Kilauea volcanic eruption. Undeterred, we continue work on the many creative projects that were born at our pre-volcano community.

There is a one-acre green zone on the property, that did not get covered by lava. This is known as a Kipuka in the Hawaiian language. We are preparing to return to our land by slowly planting and landscaping on our Kipuka.

In the meanwhile, our community is now virtual. Over five hundred volunteers from around the world have worked on the various projects in the Hedonisia Lava to Lotus Portfolio.
