All we need is your smile and extra pair of hands to help our kitchen staff at Camp Stand by Me!
Camp Stand By Me is a series of summer camp sessions held from June-August specifically designed for children and adults with disabilities. It is a special place where campers are told "YOU CAN!" and then given the support needed to succeed. Camp Stand By Me's facilities and trained staff allow our campers to participate in a number of activities, regardless of their disabilities, giving each camper the opportunity to have a fully inclusive experience that he or she will never forget!
We are looking for volunteers to assist our kitchen staff with meal preparation, set up, and clean-up. Volunteer commitment is approximately 8 hours per day, for a minimum of one full session (preferably more sessions if available). Room and board is provided in one of our volunteer cabins.
