Live in Texas? Want to advocate on behalf of those with dementia and their caregivers? Sign up here alzimpact.org/volunteer.
With help from advocates like you, we've passed critical legislation and increased federal research funding five-fold since 2011. But our work isn’t done and we need dedicated advocates like you to build on this success. We’ll train you to on how to engage your elected officials doing a variety of the following, some taking just a few hours a month:
- Direct Advocate| Lend your voice in Congressional district offices to build support for legislation that supports the dementia community.
- Digital Advocate| Spark online media engagement to build support for legislation that supports the dementia community.
