Families for Depression Awareness
Our Marketing Committee is working diligently to raise the profile of Families for Depression Awareness and help us reach more people with our programs. There is plenty of work to do and we need you! We are looking for volunteers who have a background in marketing, media relations, or communications who can help our committee members with their ongoing projects. The most important quality to have is a deep desire to eradicate the stigma of mental health and prevent suicides.

Families for Depression Awareness continues to be the premier national organization specializing in practical education and action-based training for family caregivers whose loved ones are dealing with a mood disorder. Our mission is to help families recognize, address, and cope with depression and bipolar disorder to get people well and prevent suicides. Through nationwide webinars, online tools, publications, and in-person workshops in Massachusetts we provide up-to-date and relevant education, training, and support that specifically meet the needs of families. Our programs aid participants in recognizing depression in themselves and others and getting help so that no one suffers alone with untreated depression.
