Change a life. Volunteer with Serenity Hospice.
Serenity Hospice is looking for volunteers in Marion, Polk, Benton and Linn counties to serve patients and families of the terminally ill. Working as a hospice volunteer is similar to helping a family in need. The only qualification required is your desire to help those in your community. You don't need any medical skills, you don't even need to know what to say. No experience is necessary and all training will be provided.
Volunteer your time and talent as a companion for a patient, as an end of life vigil support, office assistant, veteran companion and more. Our volunteers do a variety of tasks and there is something for everyone! There are even helpful projects you can do from the comfort of your own home.
Volunteer on your own, with a friend, or with your family for an amazing and life changing experience.
For more details about our upcoming training and application process, or more insight on what it is like to work in hospice, please visit our website www.serenityhospice.org for more information.

No One Dies Alone, Afraid or in Pain. Doing whatever it takes when it matters most.
Using a holistic approach, Serenity Palliative Care and Hospice provides physical, emotional and spiritual support to patients (and their families) experiencing end-of-life transition. We believe that no one should die alone, afraid or in pain. Pin management is our main priority and alternative therapies are offered as a complementary means of treating pain.
