Bristol Hospice is seeking compassionate and caring individuals to bring meaning into the lives of hospice patients. We are especially welcoming volunteers to help us carry out our Legacy / Life Stories Program which focuses on sharing human stories through multimedia, while affirming one's life and creating meaningful and tangible gifts for loved ones.
You will spend quality time getting to know individuals who have a life-limiting illness. You will also help facilitate meaningful interviews. You may use recordings, writing, photography, film, or your passion and skills to share an individual's life journey.
In depth training on end of life care, hospice philosophy and legacy work are provided.
Helping an individual die with dignity and surrounded by love can be one of life's most profound experiences. Please reach out for more information on this volunteer opportunity as well as other volunteer possibilities with us.

The delivery of hospice services is integral to complete the continuum of care. Bristol Hospice is the bridge to delivery of end-of-life needs that are focused on pain and symptom management. Bristol hospice provides care for patients in skilled facilities, private homes, and group homes.
Bristol Hospice is proud to partner with the National Hospice & Palliative Care Organization and the Dept of Veterans Affairs 'We Honor Veterans' program. Bristol Hospice is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care that addresses the unique needs of Veterans and their families.
